Freight forwarding is all about the smooth flow of local and International trade. 

The freight forwarder is the party who ensures internationally traded goods move from point of origin to point of destination effectively. They should be: 

·        At the right place

·        At the right time

·        In good order and condition

·        At the most economic cost 

To accomplish this, wide expertise is required in a number of areas: 

Close co-operation is required with transporters in every mode – road, rail, sea and air. Freight forwarders are constantly negotiating freight rates with transport providers, comparing the costs of moving cargo along different routes via different modes and designing logistics infrastructures which provide the best compromise between cost, speed and reliability. 

YNFFA is dedicated to assist members in achieving these goals, by providing advice, training, and communication channels with regulatory authorities both national and global. YNFFA also provides a forum in which ideas can be discussed to avoid and resolve disputes and problems.

YNFFA – Objectives: 

• Promote the Freight Forwarding Industry and raise its standards in Yemen.

• Protect the interests of members.

• Ensure good relationship among members, try to solve amicably differences which may arise among members, or between either of them and any other party.
• Obtain FIATA membership and other similar organizations for the benefit of the YNFFA and its members.

• Provide members with FIATA documents and industry press releases.
